The Leader of Cherubim & Seraphim, Prophet Fakeye dies at 78

The C&S Movement announced his death during their Sunday service, but did not specify what led to his death.

Further checks, however, revealed that the popular televangelists, also known as the Psalmist, died on Sunday in a hospital in the United States of America after a brief illness. He was aged 78.

According to Sunrise Sports Executive producer, Toyin Ibitoye, a center referee named Charles Ozigbo (pictured above) was assaulted by Nigerian football fans during a match between Rangers Bee of Kaduna and Kwara United of Ilorin in Abuja yesterday December 19th. The referee was reportedly attacked after he gave a penalty to one of the clubs. The supporters of the opposing club entered the football field and attacked the referee bringing the match to a abrupt halt. The match was subsequently cancelled.

  According to The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the deportees included women, children and whole families. They arrived at the Cargo Terminal of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos, at 7a.m. aboard cargo airline - Privilege Gourment.
