Desmond Elliot Goes For Lagos House Of Assembly Under APC (See Poster)

Movie star Desmond Elliot, a graduate of Economics from the Lagos State University, LASU who has since declared his intention to run for a House of Representatives slot in Lagos State come 2015 recently revealed the reason behind his sudden interest in politics.
The actor in a statement said he was interested in youth development and was ready to bring about the kind of reform that would affect the Nigerian people positively.
Accor...ding to the actor cum director, the current situation of Nigerians, especially the youth is worrisome.
“I feel God has helped me this far and I want to give back through politics what will be favourable to the youth,” he said.
He further stressed that “the worst part of our national life is that the level of corruption has not allowed youths to understand what it means to live a meaningful life.

Nollywood actor Desmond Elliot has decided to pitch his tenth with APC in next years' election..He wants to contest for the House of Assembly in Lagos.

"Although one doesn't need to come from a particular area for him to seek for office in that state, I am an indigene of Lagos State, born Desmond Olushola Elliott. My father comes from wiwo ona tere (street) Olowogbowo in Lagos Island. My mother is from the east, I grew up in the North and my wife is from the south. My point being even though am from the west (yoruba). I should be judged based on my capability to perform as a Nigerian . my desire to run for office.Thank you great people"
